America the Stupid

I have now completely lost my faith in the American People as a whole, it has now shown that 100 years of brainwashing can actually work.  

A great entertainer said once "there is a sucker born every minute" and apparently the entire country is full of them.  

I would like to thank Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt for starting our country down the road of communism, and after the years of government sticking their noses in everything we are only a short time away from being the new soviet union. 

My friends welcome to the USSA were the land is restricted and the government will provide you everything you need, um yeah right you see how well that works in other communist countries, but hey thats what you all wanted now you got it.  

I was always told be careful what you wish for you just may get it, and I know I sure as hell did not wish for this. 

If I'm not correct 1984 was not a guide but it seems the communist party, I mean democrat party, is using it to it's fullest extent, so go grab the book and read it that way you have an idea what else to expect from this re-elected regime.

Oh and go grab a copy of atlas shrugged it will also give some insight.

As a reminder

Ok, this is just a reminder that my posts may have extreme content so if you are easily offended stop now, otherwise feel free to keep reading.

The thing to remember is that THE TRUTH HURTS AND I HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY IT.

Another day in the life of the American dream, as I sit at my computer filling in another 20 online applications, since no one can do it the old fashioned way, you know go to the place of business, get an application, sit there fill it out, attach your resume (if necessary) to the back, go take it back to the manager, they have a look at it and talk to you a few minutes, you know pre-interview to impress them, thank them for their time and go to the next place and do it again.

Hopefully after the 3rd or 4th place, you will get a call from one of them to go back for an interview and then get the job...........um yeah.......

Now its more along the lines of fill out online application, get shot to a link to do testing for experience, a personality assessment, situational assessment, morals assessment, and on and on and on......1 hour later you are still no closer to talking to a person, let alone having any idea if you "scored" high enough to even get that privilege.  Oh did I mention that apparently all he hiring for most of the companies are done from the main offices in which most of those are on the other side of the map.  How exactly does that work, I live in A the job applying for is in B which is 10m from me and my application has to go to C which is 2,543 m from me and the job I am applying for, now how exactly does that work, other than to completely remove the human interaction from the hiring process.  Call me old fashioned but isn't that how you find out what the person is really like?

Every day I look at the help wanted and everyone is hiring, but they "in my opinion", are being a little to damn picky as to who they hire.  I saw one job I actually had to snail mail a resume to, yeah can you believe that, I have a mountain of experience in the position they are looking to hire for and I have not heard back for even a phone interview "new version of physically sitting with manager", so I waited a few days after mailing, to give my resume time to get there, I called them and inquired about the position and they said it was filled 4 days prior.......UM WTF?!, so I politely inquired as to why the add was in the paper if the position was filled the same day the add was placed and I got the um, hmm, ahhhh, story.

I love those, Honestly they can provide you with at least a minute of entertainment, as you maintain your composure, trying not to rip into them and give them what for.  These are the things that make me wonder what the world is coming to.  Everyone wants the perfect person to hire and let me jump in with the truth, IF YOU WANT PERFECT HIRE GOD, because ain't no one perfect so take the next best one and move on.

Sorry lost my composure, now don't get me wrong online is good for a lot of things but hiring is not one of them, that should and always be person to person, not person to computer, computer to person, then person to person.  All that does is add another roadblock in the hiring process to make it more difficult than it needs to be, this is something that should always, ALWAYS, be kept at its simplest form. Person to person interaction, this is how humanity has made it this far and if we do not continue we will die off.

Teamwork........the new failure

I  have always believed in teamwork to get the job done, no matter what the job was.

Just recently my son got me into this addictive online game, which unbelievably, requires teamwork to win.

When I started playing it you start with a base model and you have to play to get research points to modify or buy and upgrade.  Mind you it is a little chaotic in the beginning getting used to how to play and what to do, but after you play you should grasp the basics of the game.

So keeping this in mind, as you upgrade and get better equipment, the basics of the game have not changed your equipment has, and thus you need to change your game play to suit your current equipment.

Therefore if you are fully upgraded you cannot play as if you have a base model, and vise versa if you have a base model you cannot play as if you are fully upgraded.

But i digress.......

The whole point of the game is to get from your side to the other side without dying.  This takes a lot of team effort, to do this successfully one has to support each other so no one dies on the way, but apparently teamwork is not taught or learned or whatever any more.

As it is now, it is " ME ME ME ME, F! EVERYONE ELSE", which is the whole problem in the game.

You all want it that way go buy yourself a nice First Person Shooter  (FPS), if you want to work as a rag tag team stay, and I'll be more that happy to keep playing.

When are you all gonna learn

Why is it so hard for you people to get it through your heads that no one is fooled by all the crap that you do.  I mean really, you don't think anyone else has ever done what you are doing before, and apparently you are the very first one to do it, so it's so new you don't even have a name for it yet?

Please, I was born at night, just not last night. 

You people disgust me, you expect everything and do nothing.  Well you want that go hop on the welfare wagon, at least that way I don't have to see you on a daily basis.  Since I can thank our wonderful government for another taxpayer funded program that has failed miserably.

Oh and while we are on that subject, if you plan on dying anytime soon, you better sign over any of your worldly possessions now, the 50% death tax is going to reinstate in 2012, so if you don't want to fork over half of what you worked for to uncle obama, sign over everything now.

I have to go out every day and bust my ass to keep what I have, and you fuckers are out there just sucking off the tit of society.  Pop your lips off of society's tit, unpucker your lips, change your diaper if need be, and start doing an honest days work.  Quit feeding off everyone else, cause honestly my nipple hurts from all the people like you sucking on it all the time.

We've all been around and done all the thinks you think is so new and fresh that you can get away scott free, WRONG.  Hey, that's ok though, this will be a life lesson you can give to your kids (god help them) as they get to this stage, if you don't learn from this then you are bound to repeat it.

Cars and stupidity

Stupid people should not be allowed to own let alone drive a car.

Let me explain before you all get twisted about it.

1. If you are not mechanically inclined - DO NOT attempt to repair your own car!

2. If you are not sure where the gas goes in your car, DO NOT drive it!

3. If you are not able to walk and chew gum at the same time - TAKE A BUS!

What I have seen people doing while they drive absolutely boggles my mind.  Some things I can understand on an occasional basis but not every day.  Here are a few examples i've seen:

eating breakfast - eating a granola bar while you drive, ok no big deal, but a container of yogurt and or a bowl of cereal!  Are you people freaking nuts!

reading - glancing the headlines on your pocket pc, a bit dangerous, but trying to read the local newspaper? when is it that important you have to read it before you get to work?!

talking - I normally have no problem with this, but you are holding a phone to one ear, and flailing your other hand around instead of holding the wheel, GEE if this ain't an accident waiting to happen - GET OFF YOUR PHONE!

for the women - Ever wonder why statistics show women are more often in accidents? Let me point out the obvious, where to start........fixing makeup, doing your hair, changing your shoes, putting on pantyhose, texting all your friends on your phone, and the list goes on and on and on. 

End of an Era

Well the Atlantis has landed thus ending the space program.  This my not be a bad thing, ending the Government funding opens the door for the private funding which is the American way.

How many government programs have you seen that ever succeed let alone thrived?

I can honestly say not many, NASA was the exception.

If I had the money I would definitely put it toward the space program, that is the next step in our exploration, whether it be inner space of our vast oceans or outer space in the vast universe.
